At SoDel Concepts, we know food is an important part of every celebration, whether it’s a formal wedding, an awards banquet or a family reunion on the beach.

When I lived in Washington, D.C., I created a catering company focused on fresh, local ingredients prepared simply but with sophistication. I’m passionate about letting the natural flavors shine and combining ingredients so that they complement each other. All six of my restaurants follow that philosophy, and I’m now proud to introduce Plate Catering, which is also focused on approachable, delicious—yet distinctive—cuisine.

Whether it’s sweet tomato-corn salad or soft-shell crabs, Plate Catering uses only the best available ingredients. Working with our local farmers’ markets allows us to easily embrace the farm-to-table-style cooking that continues to grow in popularity. Why? Nothing beats the taste of freshly made artisan breads, newly picked tomatoes or juicy Sussex County melons.

Inspired by locally grown ingredients—and the people who nurture them—our talented chefs are constantly coming up with innovative menu offerings, and Plate Catering is pleased to feature our favorites. From a traditional Northeastern-style clambake to a coastal Italian brunch, you can now enjoy our award-winning chefs’ cuisine in your own home, in the park, in the office or in a private space in one of our restaurants.
